Three Days of Cyclocross racing!

My trip to Johnson County Fairgrounds was a success. By definition, this would mean that I accomplished an aim, or a purpose. For me, defining that isn’t easy. i wasn’t on assignment, or someone’s payroll; So, the stereotypical post-up photo of me crossing a finish line, doesn’t exist. I haven’t sold a single image, as I write this. I haven’t secured any future work. There were however, many moments, over the course of the weekend, that I am grateful for. In fact, I’m on the outside patio of the CID airport, and Marianne Vos walks in and fist-bumps me - success !!!
